Phase XIII preview · Self · 7 days
This is the preview of the Self door. It lets you feel the door. The path itself is on the Nine Doors.
The Self Portrait
Communication development.
“I am becoming someone I can recognize.”
Why this challenge
You are testing whether the next stage of development needs to begin with identity rather than behavior.
Why it matters
Honest reflection creates a kinder, clearer you.
A stronger, more authentic you is already within you.
What you do
Each night, write three statements:
Today I felt most like myself when…
Today I was performing when…
Tomorrow I want to be more…
Do not try to sound profound.
Be specific.
Before you begin
You have learned to notice yourself. Now ask: Can I make what is inside me understandable to someone else?
Before you begin
- I understand this challenge is about identity, not perfection.
- I will take a few minutes each night to reflect.
- I will be honest with myself, even if it's uncomfortable.
- I will not try to sound a certain way.
- I will look for patterns, not judge myself.
- I am open to discovering a kinder, more authentic me.
Keywords
- I am becoming someone I can recognize.
- Small steps. Big awareness. Real change.
- I will not try to sound a certain way.
The point
- Each night, write three statements:
- Today I felt most like myself when…
- Today I was performing when…
- Tomorrow I want to be more…
- Honest reflection creates a kinder, clearer you.
- A stronger, more authentic you is already within you.

Keywords
- Clarity is a form of respect.
The point
- This workbook follows the Self Door. Its approach is: each day, identify one thing you normally communicate indirectly and say it clearly. It asks the participant. It does not replace The Self Portrait. The plate prints 7 Days.
- Communication development.

Your record
Where this stands
The tracker is the record. Writing on a day checks that day in. Mark the challenge completed when you finished it, or not continuing when you are done with it. Those marks are the review on your map. The lines under a day are here for whatever you want to say.
7 days
7 days. Open a day to write it. Writing checks that day in.
Day 1
In your own words
This space is here for the day the other lines do not fit. Write it the way you would say it. Add a picture if that is closer. It stays with this day, and it stays on your map.
