Reality Check
See it clearly. Start here.
“I wake up while I’m awake.”
Why this challenge
Awareness becomes powerful when it becomes repeatable.
This challenge takes the occasional moment of noticing yourself and turns it into a deliberate habit you can carry into work, relationships, stress, boredom, and difficult decisions.
What you do
Five times each day, stop and ask:
Where am I?
What am I doing?
What am I feeling?
What am I choosing?
Actually look around before answering.
What to notice
How did I spend my time today? What did I intend to do? What actually happened? What surprised me? What did I notice?
Before you begin
A week of honest observation about how you actually spend your time.
